Frozen Tundra was started not just as Fundraising business, but also as a Family venture. Tim Omodt, who grew up in Lengby, MN, started helping schools fundraise in 2001 after a 20 year career in radio, mostly as the morning announcer and sports director at KOKK in Huron, SD. Tim worked for QSP/Reader's Digest and Great American Opportunites for the last 18 years, kicking off over 3,500 school fundraisers in ND & MN. In 2015, Reid Johnson, Tim's son-in-law, a native of Stratford, SD, came on board with Great American after 11 years as a Band director, 10 of those at Groton High School in SD. Reid was one of the top young fundraising managers at GAO during his time there. Tim and his wife, Leanne, have 4 children, now all grown up, and 5 grandchildren. Reid and his wife Nicole are raising 2 great children.
The goal of Frozen Tundra Fundraising is to provide schools and non-profit groups in the the upper Midwest with the highest quality programs and unbeatable service for their fundraising needs.
Just a note on our "Snowflake" logo. We wanted to embrace the fact that we have spent our entire lives in the "Great White North"(frozen tundra) of the Dakota's and Minnesota and enjoy working with the people, schools and communities of this area!
