About
Frozen Tundra was started not just as Fundraising business, but also as a family venture. Tim Omodt, who grew up in Lengby, MN, started helping schools fundraise in 2001 after a 20 year career in radio, mostly as the morning announcer and sports director at KOKK in Huron, SD. Tim worked for QSP/Reader's Digest and Great American Opportunites for the 18 years, kicking off over 3,500 school fundraisers in ND & MN. In 2015, Reid Johnson, Tim's son-in-law, a native of Stratford, SD, came on board with Great American after 11 years as a Band director, 10 of those at Groton High School in SD. Reid was one of the top young fundraising managers at GAO during his time there. Tim and his wife, Leanne, raised 4 children and now have 6 grandchildren. Reid and his wife Nicole are raising 2 great kids.
The goal of Frozen Tundra Fundraising is to provide schools and non-profit groups in the the upper Midwest the highest quality programs and unbeatable service for their fundraising needs.
